If I'd have had the patience, and not fell in love with the 314CE that I just bought, I probably would have pulled the trigger on this one. I bookmarked a bunch of them on eBay while doing research, and so far this is the best of the bunch. I'll save the auctions that I'm watching, and will post any decent deals that are out there. This is one of them.

I've also still got my eye on a 314CE 30th anniversary that if the price stays right I might snag, and then keep the better of the 2 guitars...we'll see. I just can't leave well enough alone

I'd be nervous bidding on that one. The seller has a feedback rating of only 10, and one of the feedbacks was negative. Apparently he never delivered the item. And most of the other transactions he was involved in he appeared to be a buyer. Minimal description of the item and only 2 photos. There's no way I'd buy a $1000 item from such an auction.

Totally agree with what you said, he has only sold twice and one was negative -beware and don't bid on this one. Also most of the bids are from people who have no history so it could well be a spam!!

i dont like buying acoustics on ebay. personally, i like to play acoustics, its just a thing.

True, better safe then sorry. Very tempting for someone with the cash though. It's a sweet guitar.
