TB10 Full shred bridge position... basswood vs agathis

Right now my guitar is made of Basswood and it's possible that I place the fullshred there when I receive it. But I'm also getting a Squier soon I hope (or something similarly priced) in order to get a beat up guitar to get some experience on, and I could put the fullshred in there too, instead of the Charvel's (my guitar) humbucker.
Is it a pickup that's highly responsive to woods? What would give me the best clarity and tightness out of those two you think? Tonewoods + pickups isn't really where I excell.. Thanks for the help!

i think you might like it better in the basswood body, agathis can be pretty thin sounding, as can basswood but overrall i think the sh10 will work better with the basswood body. the full shred is plenty tight and focused in almost anything you put it in.

my suggestion is when you have both guitars side by side see which one sounds more resonant acousticly and pop the pup in that one

That actually makes a lot of sense, thanks for the tip!
