TC Electronic Fangs: Has anybody tried one?

I'd go with the Fangs out of the newer tc pedals.

Somebody should. I have one incoming. I am reserving judgment but am curious about the impressions it’s made on others.

Awesome. Will be curious of your opinion. Sounds very clear and precise on the demos, kind-of like the Ibby Smashbox. (better and ruder though, less smoothed-out) Actually re-watching that vid it sounds exactly like the smashbox when the fangs is in scooped mode. (kind-of like crap IMO)

The fat and raw modes sound amazing though! Very recto sounding IMO.

note he's using EMGs also

hey LPB,
I just tried a SkyVerb from the TC budget line...I was impressed by the construction. Very well made, oversized pedal with BIG knobs.
The sound was similar to HOF TC, so more than good enough. Hope you find the Fangs flavor tasty.

So this came in today. It seems well built. The control knobs are firm but smooth. I hope I find it tasty. It’s late, so I can’t play right now. Maybe this weekend.
