Did you seriously ask about "bad things" about that?

My only comment would be that it is about 10 times more delay than most will ever need.

What do you want / need out of your delay?

You can access the Nova Delay manual here.

There are nine presets.

One cool feature that I never used was the ping pong setting where, if you are running stereo out, the repeats will alternate between two amps.

A setting that I found useful was the ducking delay. In that mode the delay "gets out of the way" while you're playing a bunch of notes and then becomes more prominent when you quit.

About the presets: Nine presets are great if you want to set the pedal up for several different songs. However, if you want to set it up for one delay setting for verses of a song and another setting for the chorus those settings can be difficult to access in real time. There may be a way to do it that I never figured out, but what I think you have to do is always scroll forward ... so that (as far as I know) you have to click through presets 3 - 9 to get to delay setting #1 from delay setting #2.

I know people who use the Nova Delay and are happy to say that their search for a delay is over.

It could easily eliminate the three delays I have on my board. But those three all have a purpose/reason to be.

In addition to the basic business of time delayed repeats, different processors often have distinct sonic characteristics. You really will get closer to The Edge with a KORG. My preference for Gilmour/Hackett soundscapes led me to the Catalinbread Echorec.
