Serious GAS!

I've been missing my phaser a bit, and I've been thinking to try a tremolo and a chorus in my rig for a while.. But that unit seems just perfect, seeing I don't one to cash out too much.. Plus I don't really have much space left anyway...

Re: TC Electronic Nova Modulator

Hi

I recently got the TC Nova Delay pedal, and it is AWESOME ! The sound quality surpasses anything i have ever heard and does not detract one bit from the core guitar sound. I would imagine the Modulator pedal will be exactly the same level of quality. Anyone i have ever met using TC gear does not ever part with it. In fact, it is making me think it would be the ideal companion to the delay pedal and that i should be considering one myself. They may not be cheap, but better to buy only once and get it right first time and probably be loving the pedal in twenty years time.

Re: TC Electronic Nova Modulator

That's a great testimony to their gear.. I actually played through their delay for a few minutes this weekend, and it sure sounded promising!

I am unsure about having a phaser with a tremolo and a chorus in a unit though... Seeing as the tremolo and the chorus should be after gain (normally, right?), but I know I liked the phaser more in front than after..

Hi

Yeas the location of the Tremolo may be a concern, but hey....if you follow that line of thought, ALL tremolo pedals would be in the wrong place simply by being before the amp (and that is why the best tremolo's are the ones built into tube amps, some even operating on the power stage rather than the pre-amps). But it would probably be best to have tremolo as the last pedal stage before the amp for general use, but i would say simply try the pedal and see how it works for *you*.....

Yeah, that would perhaps be the only way of finding out, I guess..
