TC Electronic

Really has me intrigued. When someone around here was posting YouTube videos of the JCA100H, I saw that FastRedPonyCar on YouTube was using one of their delay boards. Recently, I've been looking into modulation effects, and I came across this. I don't see a lot of users here talking about them, but what I've seen is pretty impressive. Are they any good? Do you have any experience with them? I have read that their delay stuff is good, but what about the modulation?

Re: TC Electronic

It's all over Steve Vai recordings.

I have just bought their Staccato'51 bass amp head. A matching RS210 cabinet is on its way. (If they made a 1x15, I'd buy that too.) Based on my experience with the multi-band compressor in the bass amp head, I am very likely to purchase the Nova Dynamics pedal to use with guitar.

Many of the tc electronics products are demonstrated on their website.

Re: TC Electronic

I tried the Nova Modulator once, but not with my guitar/amp. I didn't like the sound I was getting, a bit to sterile according to my taste. Fun to play with but I prefer individual stomp boxes for specific sounds.

Re: TC Electronic

I have the Nova Repeater delay and I'm very happy with it. I haven't tried anything else from them but would love to try their G-System multi effects except that I'm more into individual effects right now.

Re: TC Electronic

I don't have the Nova Modulater. But I've been gigging the Nova System for almost a year now and it's basically all of those little stomp boxes in a large floor board. Top notch stuff. The Nova Drive is a great OD/distortion unit. And their delay and modulation units are as good as it gets. I'm not in love with their compression, but everything else is as good as I've ever had in an effects unit.
