Hello all,
I picked this pedal up months ago and tonight I found a new love for it. I actually removed my Ibanez Tube screamer and found that I can just use this for all my OD uses or at least for what I was playing tonight.
So use #1 I use it to thicken up my Amps Gain channel. I lower the Gain on the amp a bit and drive it out front with the spark with the gain on the spark around 10 O'clock and the level about 9 o'clock. the eq settings are 12 o'clock on the bass and 11 O'clock on the Trebble. The Switch is in the Mid's position.
This really add just a slight push to my gain channel and changes it just a tad. I like that. The Ibanez as used the same way but I felt colored my sound enough where I got annoyed with it at times and turned it off. After a A B shootout with the Spark, I found the Spark to be amazingly clear and just added what I wanted and nothing I didn't.
I also found this exact setting to really give me a nice OD sound for my clean channel. It's just a slight break out sound like a soft Brain Adams tone on Run to you just slightly less drive. It's really nice and warm sounding pedal, maybe not even warm clear is probably a better word for it's sound. It really doesn't add anything if you don't want it to . It's a very clean boost pedal or nice OD.
I'm so into TC Electronics and I'm having a ball messing around with there pedals. I want to check out all the new ones that just got released.
