Ted Nugent inspired guitar project

Re: Ted Nugent inspired guitar project

Its funny, the South gets called redneck a lot but going up to PA and ME I saw tons and tons of rednecks and lifted trucks.[/QUOTE

LOL!!! We don't have Rednecks up here, it impossible because the sun never stays out long enough for you to get a sunburn! I think you're talking about "Hicks"??? They're a lot alike but there are some differences between the two. Both love wearing camouflage year round, jacked up trucks with a gas tank that's never more than 1/4 full, chewing tobacco, advanced knowledge about the inner workings of chainsaws & way more firearms and ammunition than any one man could ever possibly need!!!

I guess the only real difference is that here when you have that inevitable "Deliverance Date" out in the woods the guy has a beer in his free hand instead of a bible... Oh, and we have basements too, that's why our "Hicks" rarely get killed by tornados....

Ha! There's a reason y'all northerners come to the South to retire ;) The land up north is awesome but way too cold for this southern south paw ;)

If you wanna see ammo then head back to my home land in Texas, the good ole boys practically grow in on their farms :D

^^^^Kinda like this^^^^

I raked these up from my backyard before the snow fell, by the thaw the box will be completely full & most likely then some!

See I was born in Texas, I've lived in both FL & PA as well here in NH & a bunch of other places so I've met rednecks of all sorts & flavors. I've got to say that FL Rednecks take the prize!

You just haven't lived until you've sat in a nasty biker bar and watched a old patched in redneck with the nickname "Santa Clause" smoke meth out of the chamber of his .357 Mag Revolver!!! Nobody even gave him a second look, just business as usual???

FL is not exactly known for straight edge folks....with Tim Tebow being the one exception ;) (and even then, he was born in the Philippines)

I see the most creative lifted trucks in PA- the the Adirondac mountain area. Station wagons and Grand Cherokee's with lift kits- there's even a guy with an old Toyota that he painted like the General Lee.

Re: Ted Nugent inspired guitar project

The only difference between all my neighbors here in rural WI, and "southern style rednecks", is the accent. Oh, and the trucks have snow plows on the front. Pretty much everything else is the same, though.

And I wanna see the Camo guitar when it's done, that is gonna look cool!

When I was still working in radio I had to take one of the station vehicles to the track at Pocono for the NASCAR race. I still shudder at the thought of some of those sights.
