tele and strat done

i got some parts a couple of weeks ago and they are finished. They didnt fit together as niceky as a warmoth but i think i did an ok job.

The strat sounds incredible. So sparkly and quacky. I am really happy with that result.

The tele needs some adjustment and has to be intonated but it is playable. Lots of chime, balls and crunch. Attack is nice, not so overly much as with regular teles. Not really twangy but thats ok. I intended this guitar to be a cross between a gibson ish guitar and a tele.

I have 2 other guitars i am working on. A 52 style tele and 54 style strat. I wil make a photo diary of their construction for the blog. Chances are that the guitars will be done before the blogs are online haha.

Re: tele and strat done

Nice guitars. What wood is the strat body made of?

How many do you have now? 50 or more?

Re: tele and strat done

Strat is alder with maple top. The tele is solid rosewood with a rosewood board on a mahogany neck.

50?! I wish... No. Only 35 ;)
