I've had this fender 60's baja tele with a fender blues junior with cannabis rex speaker in it for awhile and i'm not that satisfied with the bridge pick up so I was wondering if you guys can recommend me some tele bridge pickups for garage rock revival and blues sound, thanks!

Need more info about your guitar. It might also help to have some idea of what amplification you use.

The stock MIM pickup in the Baja Telecaster is supposedly modelled on the early Fifties Fender Broadcaster, only rendered cheaply. The STL-1, STL-1B, APTL-3JD, STL-52-1 are all tasty replacements.

If money is no object, I heartily recommend this. http://customshop.seymourduncan.com/bg1400/

My Fender AVRI '52 Telecaster is probably closest to your Baja model. In this, I have the SD Custom Shop '53 Tapped Tele Lead pickup and some trick wiring. The latter is incompatible with the Baja selector switch circuit. You would need an additional DPDT switch somewhere.

I notice that the order form now offers A5 or A2 rod magnets. I can imagine that a mixture of both could prove interesting. A3 magnets ought to achieve more of a Nocaster tone but probably won't. (For this, your guitar neck needs to be vast.)

I just viewed a few demonstration videos - including the official Fender one with Master Builder and designer, Chris Fleming.

The stock USA pickups ought to be able to give a good account of themselves. What about them is it that you find unsatisfactory?
