Building up a tele partscaster, with vintage/road worn looking parts. Im new to the telecaster world, looking for a decent price, readily available BRIDGE pickup that will work well with Open-G tuning to cover Black Crowes or Rolling Stones songs in a cover band. already have some quality 20 watt amps, just looking to complete the sounds with the right pickup. Thanks!

welcome to the forum!

if it was me, id go jd. its a great tele bridge pup with a little bit more oomph without going too far from the vintage recipe

Just put a Duncan Antiquity II tele bridge pup recommended by Jeremy in my build. It is great for that music. $59 on Reverb.

i really like the look of them, but you must have found a steal, i dont see them under $130 on reverb, which isnt too bad, trying to keep my budget around $100. Will keep eye out for a deal

Holygrail87, I use that Duncan vintage stack with 500K pots. And I mostly use a Fender Twin. I copied Brent Mason, and put it in this guitar:IMG_0828.webp
