tele bridge pups...

Hey everyone. Well, I have finally decided to give my stock standard tele its much deserved upgrade cycle. For starters, I have some sperzels on their way. I also have some graphtech saddles ready for installation. Now, the stock pups, IMO, sound great. But I am just itchin' for some duncanization! I was wondering if anyone here in the boards has experience with the bridge Hot Stack or the Quarter Pounder. Some opinions, suggestions, etc. I just LOVE the way these pups look. DiMarzio has some interesting models as well but I think the duncans would fit the bill better.
Also, what do you guys think of the stock pups; are they pretty good or is it just me? Thanks guys/gals.

Can't beat that twanging raunchy Tele bridge tone. I've got a Broadcaster fitted in mine, and it is eveything I imagine a Tele bridge to sound like. Big, full and twangy and extremely articulate.

Tele's kick butt! I am very fond of the sound even though the guitars weigh a ton :bigok:

i have a qp in the bridge of my tele and it is a fantastic rock pup, it looses most of the tele twang though

I had a pair of QP's in a Tele and honestly I did not like them. I thought they were lacking the bit and warmth one associates with a Tele. My favorite Tele bridge pickup is the Jerry Donahue. It STILL sounds like a Tele, but not ice picky in any way.

I also have a Tele that has a Strat pickup in the neck and a Tele pickup in the bridge. Right now this is stock with Fender Tex Mex pickups. I think it sounds real nice, but I may put a JD in the bridge down the road.
