I finished my Tele-upgrade project this weekend. Thanks to all who advised me on pickup selection, etc.

It's a MIM Nashville with a Quarter-Pound Tele bridge and a SM-1 Classic Mini neck. The stock Fender Tex-Mex Strat P/U stayed in the middle. Master volume pot, plus a tap/full fader for the QP. The switch is wired middle/b+m/bridge/b+n/neck.
I haven't had much chance to play it yet, but it sounds great. The balance among the pickups is good. The tapped QP does "Tele" pretty well, and the bridge/middle combination is fairly stratish. Cranking up the tap/full pot gives fat, gonzo QP overdrive.
