Tele hum help neeeded-SD pickup choice

I am doing a tele mod and ready to upgrade the pickups. Narrowed it down to 2: SD noiseless vintage stack 4 wire or true single coil vintage STR-1 and STL-1.
First, the noise I am getting seems to comes from electrical interference (outlets, monitor, appliances) as I can move the tele around and it goes away. This leans me to the STL/R's for true tele sound.
But if i am wrong, do I want noiseless? From what I've read its basically akin to installing humbuckers and some vintage tele tone is lost.
Thanks for any/all help on this problem.

The interference noises that you get through your current pickups will not be reduced by changing to SD STL-1 and STR-1 single coil pickups.

The term "vintage" is a movable feast. The early Broadcaster/Esquire/Nocaster Fender guitars sound different from the late Fifties examples which, in turn, sound different from Sixties examples.

I rather like the STK-T1n. Its sound is not one hundred per cent true to vintage. If anything, its slightly smoother sound lends a hint of SM-1n mini-humbucker to proceedings.

To my ears, the STK-T3b lacks high treble. I favour "blackguard" style Telecasters. I like the raw sound associated with Roy Buchanan. Hence, I find the STK-T3b lacking in bite. My preference would be for one of the SD Custom Shop Tele Lead Stack models.

Thanks for the great response Funkfingers. Tone is paramount to me because of high end hearing loss so I will avoid the STK-T3b and stick with the neck STK-T1n (I was going to do this set).
I am a little confused on "blackguard" style and also “SD Custom Shop Tele Lead Stack models” so I’ll do some reading. If you have any model numbers for your bridge choices by all means post away.
Thanks again (I may have 2 responses to this as I am still fumbling through how to reply in this forum).

Re: Tele hum help neeeded-SD pickup choice

i have a vintage stack for tele set and am very happy with it ... i cant say really if it is missing anything vintage or not because i have nothing to compare it to ... but it has every bit of tele spank and twang that i expected and no hum

highly recommend

I also like the Stacks- I think they do a great job of replicating the Tele sound without hum (the Strat stacks do, too).

Thanks Dave, I am ordering the SD stacks. I certainly can understand how a seasoned player may hear the diff in them and single coils but at my skill level they will do just fine. thanks to all for your help.

Re: Tele hum help neeeded-SD pickup choice

I have a STK-T2b Hot Stack in the bridge of my Tele paired with a SM-1 in the neck and they're great. I play mostly alternative and classic rock, so a super-vintage sound isn't what I'm after. That being said, the Hot Stack does a pretty badass Zeppelin tone.
