Tele Neck P/up Adjust?

I was checking out our singer's (cheap)Squier Tele & there are no screws to adjust the nk p/up.
Is this a normal thing or is it just the guitar?

Old style Fender Teles neck pickups attach to the body of the guitar under the pick guard, its a pain to adjust it so they went with a thru the guard style on some models. Hth

I literally have zero experience w/ Teles,was just kinda poking at his when I noticed...
Best I knew to tell him was to check it out when he changed strings.

If it's a PITA,then it's his PITA.
