Tele neck pickup recommendation to match with DiMarzio! Area-T in bridge

I know DIMARZIO?! lol, it came with the guitar, it's a 2006 American Tele, maple board. I LOVE the Dimarzio Area-T that's in the bridge now. Does that planky spanky twangy bright Tele thing, and hum cancelling. The neck right now has a Duncan Stacked. Not loving it. Very muted sounding compared, I DO get a nice enough sweet neck lead thing goin on, but it requires me either dialing the amp too bright for the bridge, or compromising tone control settings.... It's just too woofy, a mis-match.

Any other hum cancelling Duncan Tele neck that's brighter? Clearer?

Doesn't make sense to me to ditch the Dimarzio when IT seems to be doing the tele justice tonewise....

I'm a Duncan fan so that's why I'm asking here...

The answer is a simple Area T neck.

Yep.....great sounding pickup and a perfect match for the bridge pup. Another excellent choice is the Dimarzio Twang King. It is a killer neck pup. It's a nice mix of tele and strat neck tones with a bit of mini humbucker thrown in. While not noiseless, it is pretty quiet. Extra ground already attached for 4 way wiring. If it has to be a Duncan, I'd skip the noiseless and drop a 1/4 lb in there. Love that pup in the neck of a tele.

How generous is the neck pickup cavity?

Would any of the following fit?
P-90 Stack
Firebird/mini humbucker
TV Jones Classic (Filter'Tron clone)

My favorite Duncan pickup for bright and clear sound in tele neck position is SM-1 Mini Vintage. But, if you want a hum cancelling tele neck pickup with those qualities, go with Wilde L202TN by Bill Lawrence.
