Tele Neck Pup Verification (with response from SD)

Hello all, first post here..

I think this is a QP but the sticker "3" has me wondering; it's not what seems to be the typical SD identification sticker and I'd like to verify what I have before finishing my build. The Ohm reading is right on for a Tele neck QP. Thanks!IMG_4524.webp

I think Quarter Pound pickups werenamed because of the individual 1/4" alnico 5 magnets.
I know nothing about the QP Tele neck but the obvious would be to measure if the magnets are 1/4"?

Hi,

We did use a single sticker like this in the late 90s.
The number 3 refers to the Quarter Pound model number: STR-3, for a neck Telecaster Quarter Pound.

The best way to assure that you are getting an authentic Seymour Duncan pickup is to purchase one new from an Authorized Seymour Duncan dealer.

best
