:feedback: Hello everyone: I'm fairly new to the forum and I've only posted a couple of times.

I would like your opions on a upcoming Tele project. I'm thinking of changing the sound and the looks. I own a Fender 2004 Highway1 Telecaster Crimeson red transparent. Below is a picture and some parts i'm thinking of using. I want to get rid of the hum by using some tele sized humbuckers and split them with a push/push pot.

never tried those pups or heard much about them. the bridge split should be 6.5k or so which is cool. the neck split will be 3.5k which might be a little thin and bright.

One good thing about trying this mod is the relative low cost involved. If it does not work out, you're not out an arm and leg in costs. If it does work out,
( which it should ) you'll have new, low cost tones to play with. One just never knows till you try though. Good luck. I hope it does what you want it to.

I have not personally used those GFS pups, but have used several models. While not my favorite brand of pickups, I do like them.......and many love them .......regardless of the low cost and actually prefer them over high dollar hand wounds.
