Tele pu's for Joe Walsh/Brad Paisley

Pine bodied CV Squire Tele. stock pu's are a little brittle. Looking for a good set that won't break the bank. Looking for good rock sounds but not high gain. Joe Walsh meets Brad Paisley is what I'm shooting for.

Thanks.

Joe uses stock 50's and 60's Fender pickups in his Tele's for the most part and Brad favors Voodoo pickups, which are killer if you can get your hands on a set. If you want a set allong those lines w/o a wit time and w/o spending a lot of cash I suggest the Duncan Vintage rhythm and Vintage 54 bridge however keep in mind a pine body Tele will never have the snap of ash or even alder...pine is a soft wood and due to that softness it tends to have a slightly midrange heavy sound for the classic Telecaster tone.

Well, it may be contrary to what you're looking for, but I'd recommend a Quarter Pound Tele for the bridge. They just have a wonderful snap to them. As far as the neck, you might consider something vintage sounding from SD.
