Tele Trem?

I was looking at a picture of the Hipshot string bending system:

Note: I KNOW THIS ISNT A TREM


BUT, I was thinking how schweet a similar system used to reproduce a Gretsch Tremolo would look on a tele, especially a black one. Is there a big problem associated with teles and trems? Its not something you ever reallly see?

teles are like the les pauls of fender-they were meant to be really simple all out tone guitars. you don't see many pauls with tremolos either.

Fender japan make a couple of teles with bigsby trems. Ask your local dealer about them.

That trem on that tele is probably the most complicated thing ive ever seen on a telecaster. would anyone be able to use that on the fly in a song if needed? I highly doubt it... it only bends 2 strings and D-tunes the E.

I said in the post that wasnt a trem, its a string bending system made to replicate the "weeping" sound of a pedal steel guitar on a tele.

IMagine the tremolo off of this guitar on a black chrome strat?
