Telecaster book with cool pictures?

Hi. A couple years ago, i was given a hardcover book commemorating the 50th year of the strat. It is great. I enjoy thumbing through and looking at the pictures.

I found a couple telecaster books on amazon. Anyone here own any or have any idea which is best for cool pictures?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

Don't know about cool pics, but if you want information you can trust about Tele history and photos of all standard models and some Custom Shop stuff, the books by Tony Bacon and A.R.Duchossoir are hard to beat.

Cheers,PJ

A.R.Duchossoir did write a book with is just a collection of pics and stats about the Tele (he did an excellent Strat one, too). Oh, wait, here it is.

I've always been a slow reader so I seldom read full books but decided to start reading the history section and i'm really glad i did. It's fascinating to me how fender believed that if he created the electronics that the guitar would follow, while early on, gibson was kinda stuck to take the opposite approach because they already had the guitars.

Very interesting. Never really though about it like that. Makes sense, though.

Just think, though. There will be less and less people who know about that history. It is cool stuff to know.
