after speaking to a forum bro, ive decided to buy this:

a 5 way switch.

STR-1 Vintage rhythym for tele.

the alnico 2 pro was a close 2nd place, but what I want is a smooth cutting neck pickup, and based on the clips, its this.

another Hot Rails for tele bridge.

why? the leads on mine are kind of ****ed up. i dont suppose theres anything i could do to fix it? its not that theres anything actually wrong with the cable, it's just that its been installed and reinstalled a bunch of times...

and for the middle pickup: i have no idea.

there's just so many options! what kind of single coil pickup is usually desirable in the middle position? I would have a low output neck single coil, a high output bridge humbucker, what would work good in the middle? it has to be a strat pickup, since thats the way the guard is routed.

It depends on what you want them for but low output pickups work best for me in the middle position, regardless of what's in the neck or bridge.

Pretty much. It's not so much that I keep modding it- it's that I never finished the mods I was going to do way back when.

Why not combine the characteristics of Vintage and A2Pro Tele PUs by getting the Five-Two? (Still no sound clips for these.)

Middle PU? - A Strat Five-Two.

As for the cable on your Tele HR, use an insulation stripping tool to clean up the individual conductor ends.
