The guitar is a Telecaster.
*The neck is stacked and tapable with 3 conductor wires.
*The bridge is a humbucker with 4 wires.
*Both pickups like 500k pots.
Neck DC Resistance Specs:
Primary wind 3.7k ohms RWRP
Secondary wind 2.8
6.5k ohms at full power
Ceramic
3 lead
Bridge DC Resistance Approx Specs (the pickup was a custom order and may differ slightly):
Output mV: 315
DC Resistance: 13.47 Kohm
Ceramic
4 wire
Any wiring recommendations? I'm open to changing the switch, pots, and any/all components if necessary.
I'm also worried about the output. Mostly, I will be using the pickups independently, for 2 totally different styles of music. However, occasionally, I like to use the neck pickup for leads when using the humbucker as the primary rhythm pickup.
Pardon my ignorance, but should I install an onboard boost with a mini toggle? Push pull pot? Or do you guys think it'll be unnecessary? If necessary, or maybe, wiring ideas and boost recommendations would be helpful.
..I'm just trying to anticipate any extras I may need to order.
Thanks!
