Hi looking for some advice on swapping the saddles on my Gotoh Standard Tele® Flat Mount Bridge for Graph Tech ones. I purchased the bridge from warmoth and they have the following dimensions sheet http://www.warmoth.com/hardware/bridges/pdf/Gotoh_Standard_Tele_Diagram.pdf now on the graph tech site www.graphtech.com there are two choices. The first is the Tele narrow which is Millimeters L20.7 W10.41 H5.84 Spread 52.73 or the Tele Rectangle which is Millimeters L20.83 L11.17 L5.98 Spread 55.35. As you can see these dimensions are either greater or less than that of the Gotoh ones.
Do you think I can get away with using these saddles? Would it be better to go for bigger or smaller width? As smaller width might mean gaps...which isn't good for tuning if there is lateral movement. Do you think the big ones would fit...has anyone used graph tech...anything!!!
