Telecaster with tremolo

i always wanted a tele with tremolo.. and now, check this out!

how would this affect the tele sound? i want a classical tele with a whammy, but i dont know how much does the classical tele bridge affect the tone


what do you guys think?

ps: if you know the name of that body finish... id like to know

The Tele bridge has a huge influence on the sound (and the 'right' sound only comes from a STEEL bridge plate), but also the Tele's string-thru-body setup is paramount to the classic sound. The guitar in your pic will lose a lot of that classic Tele tone, in fact i would suspect it might sound more like a Strat with a humbucker bridge pickup.
