I have a friend who just got one. I have played it. Very impressive. No doubt pickups etc. could be better....but it is a lot of guitar for the money.

Definitely upgrade worthy for an amazing guitar at a budget price.

He got some satin black dual humbucker tele...

You get what you pay for.....

A saying well worth keeping in the forefront of your mind everytime a purchase is being considered.

Actually when it comes to expensive big brand name guitars it is more beneficial to keep in mind that you do not always get what you pay for.

I played one yesterday -a used Center Block Hollow Body Harley Benton -was about what you'd expect at that price point - it felt like a 300-400.00 guitar. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad at that price point.

I think if your looking for hollow body at a similar point, you're insane not to look at the Gretsch Imports. Those are great value guitars.
