Tell me about Marshall Amps

****ing Hails Guys!!!
Which one of the marshall tones will gave me this tone with this features :
effects loop.
high GAIN
Tight Bass. crunchy mids and warm highs.
!?!?

I liked the plexi.
i´m reseraching to see if its possible to have a hand made Amp with the HIGH GAIN BROWN SOUND.

You're talking about the Roccaforte Hi-Gain 100, you just didn't know that yet. =)

For the $$, one of the clones like Roccaforte or Splawn would be awsome for you, since they have more gain on tap and more features than your standard "Plexi". Also, with a MV, these amps offer some brutal Marshall tones at less than ear bleeding volumes.

However, have you seen the thread on the new amp that Marshall has comming out? I'll go dig up a link to the thread for you.

Except for the digi-reverb (why oh Marshall, WHY ???), this is the first ever Marshall since the Bluesbreaker that got my attention !

I heard some splawn clips Jammermatt and i liked their BROWN sound, but it doesn´tsound as much gain as i thought . i´m gonna check them AGAIN.

Never played a Splawn - have played 3 Rocca's

Rocca's are the BIGGEST, NAsTIEST, LOUDEST AMPS on Earth. They are almost too much.

I always throw Bogner on that list!

Have you considered a 1959x Marshall and modding it? Change the transformer and maybe have a tube added or get a Soldano Hot Mod and you might be VERRRRRRRRRY HAPPY!

Huuuuuuuuuum, not sure, i´m just gathering some infos so i can have a PLay/test on a marshall, when i see a guitar shp that carries it. so i´ll see if i like it more than i like my 5150

quite frankly plexis dont have tight bass, its the loose bass they are famous for kind of,

youd be better off with a company that makes hi-gain amps as their main category I suppose

I liked it,but randall amps has something mushy to their sound thats makes me get distance or loose interest on them

WFD, have the 5150 bias modded then put some decent tubes in it. It seems like the hotter the bias gets the more brown sounding they become.

I think that'll get you where you're wanting to go.

check out the ORANGE ROCKERVERB 100. These are high gain with the British 'brown' sound
