Tell me about the Budda Superdrive II 18watter.

Im looking for an amp and I stumbled upon this. I play a lot of Rock/Indierock, stuff like AC/DC, to the strokes, to Ted Leo and the Pharmacists.

How are you guys liking these amps?

Awesome! Anymore details? What is it most like? Fenderish? Voxish? Marshally? Is it more modern voiced (like a mesa triple rec/bogner) or Vintage?

I played one for a bit in a music store a while back. From what I can remember it's a unique sound for a tube amp. Not vintage at all, but not super-saturated metal voiced like mesa or bogner. It had a really solid crispy/crunchy midrange focus- most tube amps I've played have looser/squishier highs. It seemed like a tube version of a solid state distortion or line6's DC30 model. Quite pleasing.
