It's silicon. I haven't played a silicon fuzz pedal i liked yet, so i don't think i'm gonna bother with the tweak fuzz. Also, I don't like that all the EQ settings on the tweak fuzz are preset, and there are only 6. I'd much rather have an EQ knob that i could vary.

The '69 is the best of the best when it comes to a Fuzzface clone.

I own one and love it. Very smooth and total Hendrix tone.

When I plug it into my Fulltone Clyde Wah or Spina modded Vox Wah I get the closest thing to Jimi Hendrix's tone that I've ever had.

Great pedal for that kind of tone.

This is what worries me about it. I do like that hendrixy fuzz type tone, but that's not what i'm after with this pedal. I want something that does the really nasty, square wave type tone you hear in the clip I posted. I just can't afford the $400 for that Blues Saraceno Afro Fuzz pedal. Can the '69 get that nasty? I hear some people saying that the '69 is more of the smooth type of fuzz. Should I be looking more at the '70, or another company altogether? Has anybody tried the Voodoo Labs Superfuzz?

Just spent some time on www.pedalgeek.com and discovered the Pedalworx stuff. Some of it is in my budget, and it appears to have what i'm looking for. I may go with the McFuzz.

Well according to Alex Saraceno, the Tweak Fuzz is voiced so closely with the Afro Fuzz that they couldn't tell the difference between the two pedals tone-wise when comparing them. Honestly, you can't beat the price of the Tweak Fuzz.

Okay, if Alex Saraceno says that tweak fuzzes are that close to the Afro Fuzz, I think they'll probably be close enough for me. I'm not a fuzzhead, and I just wanna add some nasty textures to my regular overdrive. THe tweak fuzz should be perfect. BTW, Where does alex say that the tweak fuzz is really close to the afro fuzz?

okay, ordering a tweak fuzz tonight. Does MF ship to Canada? I tried ot set up an account, but there were no options for anything outside the States. Do any of these online dealers ship to Canada. THanks again guys. You've been a huge help.
