Tell me more about the classic live wire!

I find very less here about this pickup.
Is it a moderate-Sound PU? Is it a PAFish-Sound PU?
I already used a metal-live wire set, which includes a classic live wire in the neck. I find the metal live wire too midy and mushy on some guitars, so i'm thinking about a classic live wire.
Does it have more output than, let me say a '59?
Does the bridge PU have more output than the Neck model or is it simply not as bright as the neck version?

Re: Tell me more about the classic live wire!

if you have a classic live wire neck it will have simialr tone with a little more bottom and less high end to compensate for the inherent tonality of the position.
output will be similar to the neck version so more than a 59.

im sure the reason that you dont hear much about this pup on the forum is that few people have used it

Yes, i thought so, but i hoped to hear a bit more about.
I once bought one set, which was a mistake: I ordered a metal-live wire set and got a classic live wire set. Then i returned it and got the right pickups. Now i'm disappointed about the live wire metal and would like to have the set which i returned.
