Just Picked up my Strat. I had the tech put the Texas hot neck and RW RP with the CC I already had. They are great together now it sounds as good as it looks. I'm really happy  # 2 position sound super stratty and # 4 works great as well. He did some rewiring too just great!!

Here it is with the old pickups the Ants look much better with the pick guard I just have to stain the CC

Great strat! I like the finish, and those pickups are probably the best combo for that maple necked strat. Right now, I've got the Alnico 5 version of all those pickups in my
reverse metallic blueburst/rosewood strat.....C-5 Trem, 2 Surfers. I'd love to have both those strats in the same room and hear the difference between maple/A-2 and
rosewood/A-5

Is that my pickguard , I think I want it back.. :)
The only pups that will go in my Roadhouse are the Texas Hots, but for now I'll keep what it has in it
You might try the tea and a Qtip to age the CC

That guitar just looks like it'll sounds great. The abalone dots on the fretboard are a nice touch. I've always wondered about that pickup combo, because I like the CC so much and I've thought about using it in a Strat. The Texas Hots are great too. How's the balance when you switch from your full humbucker to the neck or middle pickup? Does the volume drop off alot when you switch to the single coils?

Thanks Lew and thanks for encouraging me to try it the other day. It sounds a little lower one the single. I just now tried it the single on 10 = the CC on 8.5 -9 . Is that close enough for you?

Dang Lou - that is one beautiful Strat. You could just spend all day stareing at it.

The fact that it sounds good too, is icing on the cake.
