Just want to say THANKS FOR EVERYBODY who replied to my thread (EMG or SD?), finally i decided to buy lil'SD (neck), Lil'59 (mid), and JB (Bridge) 2 days ago, and today i tried it for the 1st time, and i was completely blown away..... :headbang: :eek2: the tone was fantastic!! my lil'SD was really fat and powerful, yet still retain the bright tone a bit, really nice for soloing, my lil'59 gave me fat vintage tone it's kinda boosted no more crappy bright thin sound, and my JB wow...my God.....yes i lacks one thing, i can't get that deep muted power chord sound, but who cares i don't play those heavy metal music, it really sings very well, perfect for soloing!!
My fellow band guitarist also liked the tone of my strat now, usually for my fender Deville amp, for volume i set it to 5 and the gain of my Keeley BD2'd go to 3-4 o'clock to get the nice gain sound, BUT with my "New Fender", i needed to readjust the amp vol to 2!! an BD2 gain to 8 o'clock (almost minimum) to get "still" a loud and crunchy tone!! Even my sound crew guy asked me to lower down the volume, man it was almost ZERO!!! I LOOOOOVE IT!!!!
So again thanks for everyone,especially to Robert S, Lewguitar, LesStrat, and Jeremy you're da' man :13: !! Thanks alot guys, i know this may sound like i just won an oscar or something, but just want you to know i really appreciate all your help, my hard earned money goes to the right pickups!!
