Hi guys..check out my just completed pawn Shop Prize old 70's Japanese P-bass. I got it for right around 100.00 bucks, and that was with Schaller Tuners and a BadassII bridge. I sold the BadassII for Fifty, so I used the money to get Duncan P-bass vintage pickups, and a Gold anodized pickguard, and wallah, here it is, a '57 P-bass. I knew right away the white pickguard and cheap pickups had to go, and decided a '57 mock-up was just what was called for here..and it didnt cost 1200.00, only One hundred Fifty! The Seymour Duncan Bass pickups in it are vintage style, and icing on the cake!;

What amp are you playing it through?

My Yamaha practice amp.I only have one old Kustom bass combo amp i have to drag out of storage. Action is higher than I would like on the bass, otherwise it frets out on bends, but it has good sound now with the Seymour Ducans, , and is more a less just a old 70's souped up novelty bass.

I mean this in the least possible offensive way: YOU should be the one putting the funk in your bass.
