What all gear does yall's bass player use? He's got a super fat punchy tone. Or did he go direct?

It was direct. However, there were several tweaks to his tone, because we did not spend enough time establishing the bass and drum tones before we started recording. The bass tone originally was very thin and trebly.

We won't make that mistake again.

Overall, though, Matt is an awesome player.
