Finally...

Me being reluctant to buy a POD (or any other of those digital wonders) finally paid off.. Found a used JD10 pretty cheap.

I quickly tested it recording straight onto my computer (via a E-Mu 0404 sound card) and it sounds pretty good! Miles better from the V-Amp I had a while ago. The cleans are beautiful, and especially the little-bit-gritty blues-tones are amazing! The amount of gain it has is ridiculous, it can do anything from clean to modern metal.

Of course, it has no effects like, for example, the POD has, but after a quick test the basic tone seems to be so good it´s worth the trouble of adding the reverb or delay afterwards.

I´ll take a risk and take this to a studio session tomorrow.. Let´s put this box into the ultimate test right away!

Yeah---they are pretty good. I brought one over to Europe and ran it into the Twin Reverb RI's you usually get for backline...

Yes, it seems like a good pedal to get a decent sound out of god-knows-what´s -in-for-a-backline.

(Wish I had this pedal when I was out on gigs in Peru.. Talk about backline...)

Have You tried using other pedals with this one when running it into an amp? Any recommendations on how to use this thing live with an amp?

Just had to bump this..

Now that I´ve used this pedal in numerous studio sessions (direct recording) I have to say this is the best impulse buy I ´ve ever made!

Listening to the stuff I´ve recorded with a POD puts Line6 to shame. This is the most natural-sounding gadget for direct recording I´ve tried. Amplitube and Guitar Rig are ok too but they lack the open-ness that this pedal has. Plus I think it´s good not to have to run everything VST.. Too much plugins going on makes things pretty unpredictable/unstable.

I highly recommend this pedal You can find it somewhere.
