The best match low-output bridge match for a Jazz neck?

Hi guys, I've been looking for replacements for my ESP-MII to play some rock music with versatile sounds. I'm looking for pups with the most dynamics, clarity, thickness and warmth in a special mix. I quite like what I've heard from the Jazz neck, and a local guru recommended me to pair it with a '59. What do you think? Any other recommendations whatsoever? Thanks!

The 59B would be a fine choice. So would a Jazz B...especially in terms of clarity.

But if you want a thick warm tone, I'd recommend the Custom Custom...although the Jazz B would be brighter and "clearer".

Thanks for your advice! The '59 seems like a fine choice, as I reckon it has a bit more bass than the JazzB to make it a more versatile set than just '59/'59 or Jazz/Jazz.

I've been thinking about the CC too, but what I'm worried about is that it could be too compressed and high-output for my taste. How would one compare it to a JB? I have it in another axe that is very similar to this one, and I don't really like it that much. It's too hot and screaming.

I think the Custom Custom has a thicker smoother tone than the JB. Both might have more output than you want.

The 59B does have slightly more bass than the Jazz and the Jazz has more upper harmonics.

The 59B is one of my very favorites and I have it in two Strats. More bass, more highs and less mids and less output than the Custom Custom. The 59B is like the pickups in Clapton's SG that he used with Cream and through a Marshall will get Clapton's Cream tone beautifully...and that's probably my favorite humbucker tone.

The Custom Custom is also a favorite but it might not be what you're looking for.

If you look at my sig, I have the JazzN '59B in my Paul. It is a great combo and I love it.

Thanks, guys! It seems that the '59 really is the way to go. I'll see if it's too low output and try the CC out if it turns out so.

More opinions are still welcome!

I paired a Jazz with a Pearly Gates + in my brother's Yamaha and it sounds great. There's enough output from the PG+ to balance well and the agrgessive uppermids complement the Jazz's sparkle and chime quite well.

I'm a big fan of the AII Pro. I'm sure a Seth would match nicely too.

Oh...and yes, a 59 bridge would match beautifully as well.
