The best trade I ever made was trading in my life as a poor musician living in squalor to getting married to my wife of 10 years now, transforming me to a poor musician living in a clean house!!

I traded a friend of mine Big Mac combo for a Dunlop Crybaby.

He had blown all his money an another guitar, and now he was hungry. :laugh2:

I traded a guy a Marshall 50W 2205 (which sounded terrible) for a mint Taylor 710 acoustic. I paid $400 for that head and got a $1600 acoustic!

Oh yeah, awhile back a guy left a banjo at my house. Then he disappeared for 5 years, and never contacted me again. I put it up for sale, and the guy who called owned a camper shell business. I got a nice Snugtop on my truck for that banjo. FREEEE!

i traded (i guess) the right to make copies of 25 of my cds (i have a decent collection, he took mostly classics) in return for a dunlop trigger capo and a cool planet waves jerry garcia design strap. it came out pretty much even cause the 25 pack of blank cds was like 10 bucks, and a capo and strap, both of which i needed and he had extra of, was like 10 bucls...

ahh...that makes me all mushy inside.

Anyway...I traded an Epiphone Explorer w/ a SD SH-4 in the bridge for a used Yamaha Semi-hollowbody with P-90s. Best trade I ever made.

I traded a stewmac Strat I put together for a 67' Melodymaker.
Also traded a Musicman 65 watt head for a 73' Strat neck.

Bad trades :blackeye: Traded my 64' Bassman for a Jazz bass ??
it was a stewmac body that needed a refinish and a Mighty mite
neck that was warped :duh: To add insult to injury... The guy called
me up the next day to ask if I knew that the Bassman was really a
blonde that someone spray painted Black. :smack:

I unloaded my Fender Champ 12 for what I paid for it in 2001. I hated that amp....I hated it when I bought it....I hated it the decade and a half or so that I owned it and I hated it when I unloaded it. Good bloody riddance.....

I gave up a very used DOD Distortion pedal (yuck) for a slightly used Dunlop Original Crybaby Wah. I think I took home the better half of that deal.
