wired it up yesterday, took it for a spin today... still no grill on it, but ****.....

IT SLAYS! the tone, even if it's just from my crate, is realy alive. playing is so effortless it's unreal

now i just gotta score a tube amp and i'm in tone heaven!!!

i'm looking at a laney pro tube 60 at the moment.

i'll try to record something, but this compy and the mic dont realy capture the whole thing... plus i gotta re EQ and find the sweet spot again, where it sounds somewhat better than usual.. no matter how good the speakers are, it's still only a crate LOL

man, i had the amp on 8 and the speakers are still goin strong. before, when i put it on 4 they started to fart out.

I guess so. If I can't sell it, I'm gonna keep it. It's just.. I think it's best to really follow my heart, that way I will be most satisfied (even though the Marshall is a great amp, no doubt).. But I've been gassing for that Laney even before I got my Marshall, as you know... I know I won't have a cab still, but I think that I may be able to get one for christmas, which isn't that long time.

Glad the cab is workin' out, Davey.

Having been round the Marshall v. Laney tree a few times, I can tell you: I've only owned one Laney in my life, which I still have, and 4 different Marshall rigs, from small to large, and I've sold all of 'em.
