I'd say go for the Andromeda. It does a lot more things a lot better.

Add more BBD chips in series and you get more delay time. The Moog and Deluxe Memory Man 1100 are examples of the ~1sec analog delays. (Usually you pay a pretty penny for it too)I didn't think you could make an analog delay with such a long delay time. I thought by the time you got over 500ms, the delays would be mush.
So are those chips working in parallel or series? If they are series, that's where you get the mush, right? I have to admit I love long delays, but those are all digital. I don't know much about the compromises of long analog delays.
