The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay

Re: The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay

Really? I was under the impression that it was very difficult to get long delay times in an analog delay because of the mush problem. There must be some sort of compression/expansion going on, I am guessing.
I probably should have said "not just the delay time". I don't know enough about the circuits in question to explain the phenomenon, but IME more repeats seem to have a greater effect than the delay time.

Ok it looks like I am going to have to pull the trigger blind. I think I am going to buy one tonight.

Re: The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay

These came out right after I bought the Carbon Copy Bright to pair with my regular CC, gosh darn it! I have ten delays sitting around here, so probably not going to get it, but darn!

Yeah! How did it go? Mine is in the mail, hurtling toward me.

It’s also in auto-complete.

Didn't pull the trigger yet. My big board after living in the house for a year now is still not set up. I want to get what I currently have arranged and working before I go out and buy more.

But that’s just silly! True happiness comes from having something inbound at all times.

Re: The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay

Inbound this week is a $7000 heating system that was not expected.

So exciting!

Re: The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay

I don't need all that.
The regular CC meets my needs.
Set & forget, hassle free.
But it needs a loop.

You live in the wrong part of the country. I'm in Florida & haven't turned my furnace on in 10 years. I assume mine still works.

But you pay a steep price during the summer months!!
I don’t know if I could make it in that oppressive humidity.
I would like to get away from the winter though.

Get back to me when your air conditioning unit goes or your entire house goes during hurricane season.

Better have a Service Tech check everything & the Flue for squirrels before you fire it up.

Re: The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay

Bastard! Next commision check I am trying to decide if it will be the Carbon Copy Deluxe or WLHs for my white Lester. Let me know what you think of the unit.

Re: The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay

I think you need to have a SDUGF pedal sale.
You’ve got a few I’d like to take off your hands for you.

If it's any consolation I got hit for more than double that on the coldest week of the year last year. Awesome way to kick off the year!
