I like the treble end and the definition is pretty good, but I wish it had a punchy bass grunt. That tone with a bass grunt would be the perfect power riffer.

Hard to tell about the pickups but I think his amp sounds awesome. $185 for the set is a nice price if they come nickel covered.

Killer playing in those clips! Sounds like Malmsteen meets Van Halen meets Timmons. Loved the clean bits. The dirty clips lead me to believe that they are one trick ponies, but that's probably due to a Marshall type amp.
