The Custom is back!!

In my Explorer!
I had tried it before and wasnt happy so I converted it to a C5. This was good but the lows were alittle extreme so I tried an Alnico 4 to make a C4. That rolled off some of the lows but kept the same basic eq pattern.
I liked the smooth character. I recently got a LP and put some very sweet sounding pups in it. So, I wanted a more rude alternative sO I put back the ceramic magnet in the explorer and now have a ripper! Having alot of fun with it!!

Awesome, glad to hear you're back with the Custom. That's a pickup that I really want to try, but havn't got the chance yet.
I'm sure I will sooner or later.
