The Duncan Jerry Donahue Tele pickup is awesome!!

Dudes, if your looking for a bridge pickup that is modern, and has lots of Twang but not so very much Tele treble stab, the J.D is THE one! It is a great great Tele bridge pickup and Seymour's geniues is very evident in this design. Its really everything I could ever want in a Ash Tele bridge pickup. Probably Mr. Donahue agrees! his puckup is EQ'd perfectly, and it is a tmpess classic! I would say it a;lmots falls into the "magic" category of the "78 EVH! Thanks Mr. S. Duncan!! Wow! Wow, wow wow!!

Man, I need to get busy! I bought one over a year ago and haven't installed it yet!
What you have described is exactly what I hoped for when I pulled the trigger.

I have one in my Squier Vintage Modified Tele and I dont GAS for any other teles!

I put the JD in my Humbucker Tele build and couldn't be more satisfied with it.

Just installed one.
This has got to be the best Tele pickup on the whole SD line.
There is absolutley NOTHING I would change about it. The output, voicing, and character are all dead perfect. There are plenty of highs, a suitable amount of lows, and sweet, sweet, mids. I'm using a Keeley Boss Blues Driver as a boost through a Marshall tube head and this sucker does it all.....screams, weeps, barks, and wails.
Used in series with my Antiquity neck, it roared!

Threads like this make me happy I got the JD, but simultaneously frustrated as the axe is unfinished - can play some wicked mime guitar on it though:cool2:
