The Entire Collection (with pics)

Re: The Entire Collection (with pics)

Chris, I have a chance to buy a PRS se soapbar, it's used so a little less money and it's mint. It's really hard to come across these where I live and since you have one I thought I'd get your opinion on them? You, my friend, have an amazing, stunning collection. I'm so impressed and envious. Sweet axes!

Re: The Entire Collection (with pics)

Hugo, sorry for not replying, seems I missed your post. The main thing about it for me is the sound of that neck p/u, it's a really rich and complex sound particularly played clean. The guitar itself is very light and comfortable to play, though the neck profile is lightly chunky - supposedly it's the same wide/fat profile as the CU22, but to me it seems a little larger than that. Definitely one to try out if you get the chance.

As to the collection, well let's just say I'm getting that itchy feeling...

Wow what a collection! I really like that Peavey Tele. Is that 4 mini coils in the bridge? wow. I was just thinking of having 3-4 coils in series yesterday, and how that would sound.

Love the DC LP type guitars.

Nice pieces, all!
I espec love the PRS 22 (black flame delight!!), the warmoth strat and Im not normally a big tele guy, but the blue tele is amazing! I really love the braveheart too! The coloring is awesome, with the wood grain rim and even the choice of the black switch was choice!

Some fantastic photos in this thread! The latest baby looks amazing!

I know it's not my business, but if you don't mind, what are you doing for a living in Riyadh? Just curious..

I'm an account manager for an IT company, but was doing project management until earlier this year - I've been out there for the last 11.5 years, but currently on a well earned break back in the UK.

Don't doubt that! Never tried a PRS, but some day..

Cool. Seems like an exciting and different place to work! If I ever get the opportunity, it could be fun being around those parts for a smaller period. Always good being around your home place though.

I don't want to speak for Chris, but I'll bet he's an American ex-pat working a contract in Saudi Arabia.

Good money there, for sure.
