Thanks. You know...neither was I but w/the Gold Hardware I think it's a bit different. I fell for it after picking up it's 10 1/2 lb ass and playing it the first time so it wouldn't have mattered what damn color it was!

1979 Marshall 2104 JMP Master Volume Lead, 50W 2x12" Combo, this amp was in production from 1976 up to 1981. This is a 2x12" combo version of the 2204 head. I was fortunate enough to recently add another "Made In U.S.A." Guitar to the "family"...a 1989 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster w/Floyd #46 of 50 Manufactured. Purchasing the CS Strat necessitated selling an 1987 Ibanez 540R Blue Burst to make the purchase, but it was very well worth letting it go. Additionally, I let the "Lightning Sky" Warlock go a while back, and, as of the last couple of weeks, the "SRV" Pink Paisley and the First Act SFA CE140 Lola went to new owners, in an effort to get down to my 1979 Marshall JMP and my "Fantastic Four" Guitars.

Couple of changes...SRV Paisley and First Act Lola are gone. I had finally gotten down to 4 after a great deal of "thinking about what to let go", but then #5 arrived...1991 Heartfield Elan III...this should be the whole enchilada for a long time to come, as I'm trying to move away from "more guitars" and into "more guns"!!!

The deeds are done...parred down to the bare minimum now...and it feels good dammit!!! :friday: I started out with a used 1980s Epiphone MIJ Cherry Burst LP w/a L6 Style Open Book HS, a 1980s Squier MIJ Strat that I completely modified (Warmoth Neck, SD Rails, etc.) and a Fender Princeton Chorus 2x10 Combo. The gear that I have retained has brought me full circle to where I started and the gear I originally "wanted" but couldn't afford as a just engaged, full time employed/full time college student living in a small one bedroom apartment in Pacific Beach, CA...a Gibson Les Paul, an American Strat and a Marshall Tube Amp - it just took me 23 years to find the right ones!
