Just got my Express back from the shop. I really missed those cleans and reverb. Played though it for about 4 hours straight yesterday.

Had to give it it's share of love..... 'cause...well, I think it's been a bit jealous ever since the OR15 showed up. Love that frickin' Orange tone!!!

Nice setup! You got an A/B pedal? Seems like the Mesa for cleans and the OR15 for dirt would be pretty sweet

5:25. It's a totally different monster when plugged into the bottom cab. It's a diy with a16 ohm Emi Legend. I run it out of the 8 ohm and hook the combo into one of the 4 ohm outs. Crazy how Mesa encourages mismatching impedances a bit (Not lower though). It definitely changes tonal qualities a bit.

Right. Looking at an A/B or an A/B/Y box from Guitar Gadgets. It'll be my first build, but seems simple enough. Would like to switch and/or combine on the fly.

With the Mesa? Tech said it was a bad tube socket connection.

One night while at a buddies jammin', it just sounded very thin and weak, like half powered after we took a 30 minute break after playing for about an hour. I left it on standby, came back and flipped it on and "WTF?!". Had to finish with an old Bandit 75....CRANKED! That old bastard survived the night though. I was surprised....I was pizzed and trying to blow somethin' up!



Just ordered this today. Can't wait to blend the two.

I keep thinking of selling my Tiny Terror and getting an OR15. I know I'd rather have the OR15, and gain an FX loop, but the upgrade would cost double. It'll probably happen when I find a bargain, and can then sell the Tiny Terror. It is a good amp, but I really like the voicing of the OR.
