I've got a copy of Under Lock and Key and really really love that album, what other Dokken albums would you guys recommend picking up?

Beast from the East live is supposed to be good...with an 8 minute version of Mr. Scary :banana:

Back for the Attack and Tooth & Nail. Both have a few duds on them but they`re essential Dokken material.

Definitely pick up Lynch Mob's "Wicked Sensation."

That CD is so hot it burns my fingers when I put it in the player!

And don't ever, EVER!, miss a chance to see George in concert. Phenomenal player live!

Tooth and Nail and Beast from the East would be the next two I'd look at for Dokken material. Dysfunctional and Shadowlife are also good albums, but are very far removed from the sound that made Dokken famous. Think of those two albums as Dokken's Load and ReLoad.

His solo work must haves, IMO, are Sacred Groove, Furious George, and Wicked Sensation.

Really, for a Lynch fan his entire catalog is a must have, but if you have to hold off on a few IMO you can wait on Breaking the Chains (Dokken), Smoke This (Lynch Mob), and Wicked Underground (Lynch/Pilson).

If you take his, I may grab yours...though I might opt for the Japanese Susumu Kodai. Though actually I've been more into Lupin Sansei than Yamato these days....:fingersx:

Really, really hated Dysfunctional and Shadowlife, that's when I finally gave up on the band. Lynch Mob's Wicked Sensation is the Must-Own, it's better than Dokken. Then Lock 'N' Key, Back For the Attack...and it starts to get sparse after that.... One Night Live is not half bad, really weird to hear them to Beatles unplugged.

I just thought that it was worth pointing out that, biologically speaking, unless we're entering the realm of science fiction, it is physically impossible for George Lynch to gestate a fetus to term in his non-existant female reproductive tract, or nurse a child using his non-functioning mammary glands. Therefore, Lynch--like all biological human males, would make a very "bad mother" indeed. Unless there's something really weird going on that dojo.....
