The second link is one of the best guitar instrumentals ever made.... Gary Moore - The Loner. Simply brilliant.

I have no idea about the first. :D

Heh...I'm gonna let this ride a bit more... on the first clips (the one with several songs) :D

But yeah..second clip...Gary Moore..the Loner...PRS custom through a NMV goosed with a TS9...hellatious tone...but...the live version from 87/88...he's playing his Charvel Strats with one EMG and it sounds just as good if not better...

:BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ:

Sorry, but thanks for playing :D How about a years supply of Rice-A-Roni, (the San Francisco treat ) as a parting gift?

Def not Deep Purple :)

Michael Schenker is the first one I think although I have never heard that tune.

I listened to the second one and immediately guessed Gary Moore or maybe Marty Friedman... I have never heard The Loner before... Gary Moore always has killer tone.

DING DING DING...WE HAVE A WINNER! :D

Michael Schenker Group. One Night at Budokan. Live 1981. Stock Flying V, wah, Rivera modded Marshall, and a analog slapback delay.

If you listen on good speakers you can really hear all the little nuances he used to have using the wah...everyone else overuses the damn things. He really knew how to milk it for all it was worth.

It still is my fave all time album.
