The help me help bungalowbill FS thread!

Mr 9finger

Digitally Challenged
I've decided I really want Joe's Mesa Blue Angel. To pull it off, I'm going to have to move a few things to get the money and to free up some space to have it in my room lol!

I'm not into trades at the moment. The only pickup I really need is a black Fspaced Dimarzio Evolution bridge pickup.

Payments, I'm only going to accept money order, moneygram through walmart, or personal check. I will wait to ship on a personal check until it clears though. I've just had it with Paypal. They are saying I owe them $134 on an account that never existed from a charge 2 years ago when I wasn't even using Paypal or Ebay. Crooks I say!

I'll have pix up later this evening. I somehow managed to misplace my case that has all my SD cards in it for my camera, so I need to run and get one!

Rack stuff!
Marshall 9001 Tube Preamp. Here's a link to the PDF containing the specs and manual:
http://www.marshallamps.com/downloads/files/9000 Series hbk.pdf

It's in really good shape. There's some typical rack rash on the top and around the mounting ears. Nothing to extreme. I don't have a footswitch for it though. It's a lot of Marshall in a small package. It really is that 80's Marshall sound without a doubt.
I'm asking $200 plus shipping *ON HOLD FOR PINTO*

ADA MP-1....the 80's rock sound! Tube preamp...2 12ax7's. Bone stock and in good conditions. Works perfectly! In a fit of random buying, I ended up with 3 of these, so I can let one of them. Everybody used one of these in the 80's!
Asking $175 and I'll give you the best of the lot!

Marshall 9004 solid state preamp. I can't find much on these. They were made in England and were apparently the building blocks for the original Valvestate lineup. I've been using it as a headphone amp and through a set of computer speakers for some quiet practice at night. Actually sounds pretty dam good for what it is. I'm going to go cheap on this one because the original power supply has been busted and is kind of flaky. I'll probably end up getting a replacement before it's shipped out.

I'm not 100% sure on this one, but I'll throw it out there and if the price is right, I'll let it go. Marshall 8004 Valvestate rack power amp 40x2 stereo power amp. I really don't know about it beyond what I've already stated, but I can say it sounds awesome. There is no volume or resonance controls, all of that is controlled by the preamp(s) you run through it. Running 2 ADA or an ADA and Marshall pre into this, there was not a 70's or 80's sound I couldn't pull out of the rig. Has a very nice tube feel to it. Not quite as good as an all tube power amp, but comparing prices, you'd be hard pressed to beat it. Make me an offer.

Pickups

I've got the following EMGs

81TW $70 shipped
89 $70 shipped
SAV $45 shipped
S $40 shipped.
All of them have quick connect cables except for the S. All of them will include screws and springs. I'm not 100%, but I think I still have some of the extra wiring stuff around somewhere and push/pull pots for the dual mode buckers. The 81tw/SAV/89 are wired up in my black Strat right now, but I've been using DPDT mini toggles for switching.

Chrome Gibson Iommi. Got this off Grumptruck in trade. Super high output pickup! Just not my thing. There is some light pitting on the sides, but I don't think it would be noticeable once it's installed. $45 shipped.

Dimarzio Steve's Special...I think. It's currently in my Ibanez Sabre and I haven't pulled it yet. So I'm not exactly sure on the model, that's what I was told was in it. Double black regular spaced chrome hex poles. Very open organic sounding pickup. Great pickup, but I think I'd prefer an Evolution or tone zone in it's spot! Not sure how long the leads are, but it's a dam rats nest in there, so I'm sure there's plenty to reach where you're going with it.
$45 shipped.

Misc Guitar items

Vox 847A Wah housing. It's almost completely gutted, but in perfect cosmetic shape. I bought it broken with the intent of fixing it, but the board was trashed. Then I was going to build a new wah board into it and never got around to it. Now it's gathering dust bunnies. $25 shipped.

Planet Waves desk top strobe tuner. This thing is great, but it's just not working out like I had hoped. If you want an accurate tuner, this thing is it. I'd keep it, but I think I should have gotten the pedal version instead. If I leave it on through the tuner out of my Voodoo amp switcher, I can hear it pulse while I'm playing...VERY annoying. It doesn't do it while it's inline or off of one of the amp outputs from the box, but I can't personally do it on either of those for my setup. It's only about 2 months old and has been barely used. $55 shipped.

Other Misc stuff
Onkyo TX-SR 506 home theater receiver. 90x7 first gen HDMI switching receiver. IMO, this thing has a better power section in it than my 707, but I don't have room for both and this one is just sitting. It doesn't have True HD or DTS master audio processing, but it does have preamp inputs if you've got a blue ray player that has these things on board with 7.1 channel analog outputs on it. The first gen HDMI switching receivers w/out the HD audio processing required a separate digital connection for sound. So you would have to connect a digital audio cable for your 5.1/7.1 surround sound with the HDMI cable. It has several ins and outs on it. 3 HDMI in/1 out. I'll get some more specs and pix up later. Here's a link to the specs.
http://www.us.onkyo.com/model.cfm?m=TX-SR506&class=Receiver&p=i

This thing is kind of heavy, so I'm going to put it up as $75 plus shipping to your address, but may negotiate a little on it because of the weight.

Last but certainly not least. I have a set of Klipsch Reference 4 RB-10 bookshelf speakers. Big sound little package. Sadly, I'm just not using them right now. They've got a total of about 10 hours on them. Still have the original box and candy that went with them. 4" 2 way speakers with horn tweeter. Here's some specs from Amazon,
http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-4-Inch-Two-Way-Bookshelf-Loudspeaker/dp/B000782SIC
$200 plus shipping! As a side note, these were discontinued last year. I have heard a lot of people say that these sound better than their new replacements, the RB41II's. I have no personal experience with the newer models, but I know these sound great from first hand experience.

I also have a Rockford Fosgate 8" punch series 1 sub that's still NIB. Never been opened. I had 2, but I couldn't fit them both in my Jeep without taking up too much room in my hatch. Great little subs for the money. I paid $99 for it, but I'll sell this one for $50 plus shipping since it's just sitting here.

I think that's it for now.

Re: The help me help bungalowbill FS thread!

I don't need any of the stuff, but I hope this works out for both of you.

Re: The help me help bungalowbill FS thread!

Really? That's what its worth to you.

Sad face.

Wasn't nothing personal bro. I seen some of them went for more on Ebay. I just figured with the pitting on the sides and the short leads, that it was a fair price.

Re: The help me help bungalowbill FS thread!

you got any couches? jk good luck with the sales man. ill be expecting a NAD thread.

Re: The help me help bungalowbill FS thread!

Sorry fellas! I had some technical difficulties today with my net connection. I'll get some pix up and PM's replied to as soon as possible.

Oh yeah, prices are negotiable as well. I was just going by what the stuff had been going for on ebay.

Re: The help me help bungalowbill FS thread!

Good luck with the sale man. If I was little more flush I'd grab that 9001 and 9004 from you. They're both on my list of Rack Preamps to get....

Shoot me an offer bro! We might be able to work something out. Shipping to Canada is going to suck though. The 9001 is heavy.

Re: The help me help bungalowbill FS thread!

Have you got any 5 foot hog wire or 14 foot sheets of tin? That and treated 2x4's are about all I'm needing these days.

Seriously, good luck with the sale and a free bump.
