Bumping this thread just for the sake of it (and try to keep it afloat of the Korean SPAM attack)!
Those SOBs are relentless!oed: :cussing:
I don't think Korea had a horse in that particular race. That came later.Truman nuked the wrong guys, apparently.
Yes, sir!I don't think Korea had a horse in that particular race. That came later.
But either way, and this isn't directed towards anybody in particular, play nice about the pickup, guys.
Well, Scott said a v.2.0 version will be made followed by an "official" video... but no clue as when is this going to happen, so I don't know. What's our next move, Pepe?
Hey Scott!
Any news on the v. 2.0 of the Hy-Bro? A ballpark date would be plenty!![]()
Working on it with MJ, Zoobiedood is going to help move things along. Should have a video from Danny next month![]()
I have not heard or seen a video yet. So how many people are interested so far? I'd love to get an idea- and I am sure a video and sound clips will help this along. We would need enough orders to put this into some sort of limited production and get the price down.
I'm interested.....but I'm gonna need to hear it before buying anything.
It could work OK on a 24-fretter in a hi-gain environment.Pepe, You stated this:
Superstrat, 25,5" scale, 24 frets: MJ prototype.
Gibson, 24,75" scale, 22 frets: Seth-modded prototype.
Now, how does the seth proto do with the 25.5?
It could work OK on a 24-fretter in a hi-gain environment.
*I* wouldn't use it with a 22-fretter due to the way too fat and dominant screw bobbin present on the prototype.
The '59/Custom Hybrid has an incredible "universal" appeal. It gracefully takes almost any mag swap.
As presented to me, the Hy-Bro neck prototype, using an A5, is a one-trick pony, that fails at meet the asked requirement, which was to tonally- and output match the '59/Custom Hybrid.
HTH,
Dammit! I'm 57 and I still didn't learn to read properly! :ban:Pepe, I think BloodRose was asking about your tweaked Hybro with the Seth screw coil...
